Adapt [2025]

Remaining stagnant and unchanged in this highly dynamic environment we live in can be detrimental to our health, safety and livelihood. Our ancestors knew this well, but we've become accustomed to technology and relative comfort from birth.

Enter Adapt.

Adapt 2025 (Bravo)

Hummingbirds are fascinating creatures. Their brain is 4.2% of their body weight, they can see color and their heartrate can exceed 1200 BPM. To adapt to their environment they go into a state of "torpor" which is akin to hibernation. Their body temp can drop substantially along with their metabolism to survive in the cold. They're the only bird that can fly backwards, with wings that can flap 200 times a second allowing them to also hover and fly upside-down. 

They can also be highly aggressive in protection of their food sources.

We are focused on the hummingbird for 2025 due to their stunning beauty, uniqueness amount birds and ability to adapt to their environments.

The design is various stills of a hummingbird as it approaches a flower. It's actually a design that dates back to 2012 as part of a conceptual street art project.

Adapt 2024 (Alpha)

If we can observe one animal that has not remained stagnant and adapted to it's environment, it would be the Coyote. They have learned to survive and thrive just about everywhere - including dense urban environments. They're scavengers and opportunists, they operate solo and in packs. Their bodies are versatile and well suited for just about conditions.
