It Should Have Been Me (Beautiful Hand)

Designers Note:
The first 3:16 release since 1/1/2020. We spent a good deal of time prototyping and in prayer regarding the next release. This one was by far the hardest one to get into production. For some reason, we were unsettled on the designs and how they were looking once translated into a patch. We held steady for months.

A post from a customer with a For Today track in the background called "Crown of Thorns" showing off one of our other designs spurred the idea.

It should have been me
With the nails through my hands and feet
Facing the wrath of God
It should have been me
Left to pay for my sin forsaken
But in the blood I stand here
It should have been me

This idea was further cemented with another song by Blindside called "Pitiful". 

But I know as I hammered those nails into your beautiful hands
Your eyes still try to search for mine, but I look away
Now your eyes are the only thing that can save me
I'm still afraid of them piercing
You're breaking into my prison
Just pretended for a while
My soul is dying
I won't look away

The end result is a simplistic visual; a Beautiful Hand, the hand of a carpenter and our Savior who bore the weight of our sin.
